Georgian Heights Elementary School Back to School Bash
Central Ohio Parent Leadership Training Institute (COPLTI) had the pleasure of attending Georgian Heights Elementary School’s fantastic Back to School event! Our team connected with amazing parents and students, sharing our mission and promoting opportunities to enroll in our next cohort. We’re thrilled to support our community as they embark on a successful school year ahead. Columbus Bilingual West Back to School Bash
The Central Ohio Parent Leadership Training Institute recently participated in a series of back-to-school events. COPLTI Alumni Miguel Perez and Denisse Hernandez were present at Columbus Bilingual West, where they engaged with numerous parents, sharing our mission and promoting enrollment in the upcoming cohorts—English on September 28 and Spanish on November 3, 2024. Their efforts were instrumental in conveying the value of our program and encouraging participation. Miguel and Denisse did an outstanding job representing PLTI and inspiring future leaders.
Eastgate Back to School Bash
COPLTI was proud to attend the Eastgate Back to School Bash, represented by our Executive Director, Karla Poole and Site Coordinator Belkis Mercedes. This event, in partnership with All in For Ohio Kids, was a great success in connecting with the community and promoting our upcoming programs. Karla and Belkis’ leadership and dedication were evident as they engaged with families and highlighted the importance of parent leadership in our communities. We would like to sincerely thank All in For Ohio Kids, United Methodist Women, and Asbury North United Methodist Church for your participation and dedication to our community and our cause!
Columbus City Schools Resource Fair
The Central Ohio Parent Leadership Training Institute (COPLTI) had a fantastic experience at the Columbus City Schools Resource Fair. The event was jam-packed with parents and students, all eager to learn about and engage with COPLTI, as well as the other valuable resources available. Tiana Lee, COPLTI Alumni Coordinator, and Alumni Rhedeshia Young did an outstanding job representing COPLTI, sharing our mission, and encouraging families to enroll in our upcoming cohorts. Their enthusiasm and dedication were instrumental in connecting with the community and fostering interest in our programs.
Mochila Feliz Back to School Event
PLTI successfully participated in the annual ‘Mochila Feliz’ back-to-school event, interacting with numerous families from Columbus’ Westside. Our team showcased our upcoming fall cohorts, and our spin-the-wheel activity was a big hit among both parents and children, generating significant interest in PLTI’s mission. Special thanks to Belkis Mercedes for her enthusiastic involvement in this event.
